世界中のファンから愛されるゲーム音楽界の巨匠、作曲家"植松伸夫"の全ての時代の作品をドイツのケルンWDR交響楽団が演奏し、開催されたオーケストラコンサート「Symphonic Odysseys - シンフォニック・オデッセイズ」(2011年7月)のライブ音源を収録。「ファイナルファンタジー」、「キングスナイト」、「ロストオデッセイ」、「ブルードラゴン」等の植松を代表するゲーム作品からの楽曲の数々がオーケストラによって演奏される。またゲスト演奏家として、植松伸夫の作品集で名門レーベル"ドイツ・グラモフォン"からデビューを果たした天才ピアニスト「ベンヤミン・ヌス」を迎える等、豪華な内容となっている。
